Lauren began her 25+ years of experience playing the violin at the age of five, studying The Suzuki Method in St. Louis, Missouri in Faust Park and the Washington University campus buildings in University City. Focusing on a classical repertoire, she utilized her innate aural ability to develop a practice with a highly technical approach, before branching out into various other styles. In her youth she auditioned and was selected to be first chair and concertmaster of the Eureka Symphonic Orchestra.

Chicago became Lauren’s next chapter, making her mark as an award winning musician and actor on iconic stages and venues throughout the city, all while earning a degree in musical theatre at Columbia College Chicago. During this time Lauren would also go on to perform internationally in Warsaw, Moldova, and Italy, as well as across America at prestigious institutions such as The Pasadena Playhouse, American Repertory Theatre, Feinsteins/54 Below, The Shedd Aquarium, The Getty Villa, The Paramour Estate, and more. Her performances have been written about in The Boston Globe, The Harvard Crimson, The Chicago Tribune, and OperaWire.

Currently located in Los Angeles, California, Lauren continues to serve as a professional violinist, serenading numerous events and occasions across Southern California.

While she specializes in The Violin/Fiddle (they’re the same thing!), she also plays and occasionally teaches Banjo, Guitar, Ukulele, Mandolin, and is a critically acclaimed vocalist.
